Introduction

The admissions process is designed to introduce prospective students and their families to the mission, philosophy and programs of Central Arkansas Christian Schools, and for the admissions committee to learn about the academic and personal qualities of each applicant. Our goal is to maximize the probability of a successful school experience for each student at CAC.

Admission Policy

Applications are reviewed by the CAC Admissions Committee made up of campus principals, administrators, guidance counselors, and other admissions staff. Recommendations for admissions may be affected by a student’s academic record, standing at previous school, and date of application. CAC may also take into consideration factors such as siblings of current students or children of CAC alumni. All admissions decisions are made independent of financial considerations. CAC admits students of any race, creed, and nationality or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.

Campus and Classroom Visits

Campus visits are scheduled through the admissions office. Prospective families receive a campus tour and an individual meeting with a member of the admissions committee. Students in grades three through 12 may observe classes on a regular school day. Visits are arranged through the admissions office in consultation with the appropriate principal.

Open Enrollment

Prospective families are encouraged to complete the application process as soon as possible so as to be reviewed by the Admissions Committee in time for Open Enrollment. Pending availability per class section, the CAC Admissions Office will inform new applicants of admissions decisions after February 15th of each year. If classes close due to availability, applicants will be placed on a waiting list and could be selected if spots come available. Should placement not come available, applications will be automatically rolled over to the next school year.

Closed Enrollment

CAC offers a closed enrollment period each January to allow currently enrolled families the opportunity to re-enroll students or pre-enroll siblings for the following school year. Closed enrollment deadline is February 1st.
