As a 36 year veteran of public education, I know the importance of good schools to a community. But, even more important than academics, having staff and teachers who echo the spiritual teaching that I and my boys received at home is what sets CAC apart. You can walk the halls or visit a playground during recess to see and hear the difference.

WE ALREADY PAY TUITION, WHY DO WE NEED TO DONATE MONEY TO THE SCHOOL?

The Summit Fund helps keep tuition as low as possible. Like almost all independent schools, tuition does not cover the full cost of a CAC education. Funds raised through the Summit Fund bridge the gap between tuition revenue and the cost of providing a distinctively Christian educational experience, and provide the added value that all students receive regardless of their ability to pay.

WHAT DOES THE MONEY FROM THE ANNUAL FUND GO TOWARD?

Your investment in the Summit Fund immediately supports all areas of the school: school activities and academic programs, teacher training, technology, equipment, etc. It also allows us to respond to our budgetary priorities and any unforeseen needs, developments or opportunities that may arise.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ANNUAL FUND AND CAMPAIGN GIVING?

The Summit Fund goes immediately into the school’s operating budget to support the ongoing operations of the school. Campaign funds, such as the recently completed Floor to Ceiling campaign, are allocated to the designated capital projects to enhance or expand existing facilities and programs to ensure the longevity and long-term stability of CAC.

WHO IS ASKED FOR GIFTS?

Everyone in the CAC community; parents, grandparents, alumni, board, faculty and staff, and friends of the school. 

HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE?

What you give is entirely up to you, but we hope that CAC’s mission will be a stewardship priority for every family and ask that you make a gift that is meaningful to your family. The average gift size is $50 a month, with gifts ranging from $10 a month to $1,500 a month. Recurring monthly and annual gifts matter the most, no matter the size.

WHAT IMPACT WILL MY SMALL GIFT HAVE?

Every gift, regardless of size, is essential to support the school.  Every gift is appreciated and brings us closer to reaching our fundraising goal. Participation by everyone in the CAC community is vital, as we are collectively BETTER TOGETHER! Gifts of any size inspire more people to give. Your donation represents your confidence in our school and our community.
