Admissions Process

Introduction

The admissions process is designed to introduce prospective students and their families to the mission, philosophy and programs of Central Arkansas Christian Schools, and for the admissions committee to learn about the academic and personal qualities of each applicant. Our goal is to maximize the probability of a successful school experience for each student at CAC.

Admission Policy

Applications are reviewed in the order they are received and applicants who meet admissions standards are accepted, given the availability of space in a class. CAC may take other factors into consideration such as academic record, siblings in the school or children of former students. All admissions decisions are made independent of financial considerations. CAC admits students of any race, creed and nationality or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.

Campus and Classroom Visits

Campus visits are scheduled through the admissions office. Prospective families receive a campus tour and an individual meeting with a member of the admissions committee. Students in grades 3-12 may observe classes on a regular school day. Visits are arranged through the admissions office in consultation with the appropriate principal.

Open Enrollment

Following closed enrollment for current students, CAC opens enrollment to new, prospective families.

Closed Enrollment

CAC offers a closed enrollment period in January and February each year to allow current families the opportunity to re-enroll for the following school year. New, prospective families are encouraged to complete the application process as soon as possible during this time and will be placed on waiting lists. Pending availability per class section, CAC will inform new families of accepted class positions at the beginning of March.
