Congratulations to Lady Mustang Basketball Coach Steve Quattlebaum who was named the Arkansas Girls Basketball Coach of the Year. Way to go, Coach Q!Coach Q will be honored at the High School All-Star Game, at which he will also be coaching, in Conway on Saturday, June 22, at 1:00 p.m. at UCA.
- Congratulations to the 2017-2018 4A East Region Champions! The varsity Mustang Baseball team defeated Southside 3 – 2 in 10 innings last Saturday, May 5. The Mustangs will start play this Friday in the State Tournament! Let’s go Mustangs!

A very big shout out is due for Mr. Doug Killgore (otherwise known as @BowTieAD).Last Friday, he was honored by Dr. Carter Lambert and Wesley Walls in front of the entire Secondary student body during chapel for his16 years of outstanding service & leadership as CAC’s Athletic Director. His dedication and hard work has inspired many and benefitted countless. You are a blessing to this school!
- Martin Orthopedics will provide athletic physicals at CAC this Tuesday, May 8 at 6:30 p.m. All students entering grades 7-12 who plan to participate in any sport must have a physical and complete the required paperwork. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity. More details will be distributed soon.
- Congratulations to freshman swimmer Claire Hyatt who was selected to the Democrat Gazette’s All Arkansas Preps Swim Team! Hyatt was selected based on her finishes in the 50 yd freestyle (1st place, state record time :24.07) and 100 yd freestyle (3rd place). Great job and season Claire; we are proud of you
- Former Lady Mustang Golfer Allie Weiner (2017) will compete with the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns golf squad in the NCAA D2 Super Regionals in St Charles, Missouri, May 7-9. Weiner will be playing for the Central Region’s #2 ranked ATU team hoping to extend their season to the NCAA D2 Championship Tournament May 16-19 in Houston, TX.
