Speak Up with Mrs. Medina

Mrs. Medina is a new addition to the CAC art staff this year. She began teaching at Mamuelle in 2020. She found out about the job at CAC through Mrs. Gaines, who had worked at CAC for several years.
She said,” I love the aspect of working at a private school that is centered around God, and I just really needed something new last year.” She talked about her favorite part of working at CAC and said,” So far it’s been the age range. I’ve never taught high school; the highest I’ve gone is 8th… The environment of the school is very calm and peaceful.”
”I wanted to do an art therapy job, but Arkansas is not certified in it, and art education is the next step.”
She also touched on how she loved art and would never want to teach anything else. She liked it as a kid and just kept going with it. She also talked a bit about how CAC is different from other schools.
“The communication between the teachers and the teachers and the administration is top tier compared to several schools I’ve been at.”
