The Mustang — Yearbook 2023
The 2023 CAC yearbook, “The Mustang,” is set to drop in early May, and student staff members have been working hard all year long.
The yearbook staff was divided into teams this year, and students chose an area to focus their attention for the semester. Photography, Design Production and Story teams worked on every element of the book and collaborated on each page to tell the story of the year, adding to 50 years of CAC’s story already told in past books.
Though the yearbook staff works each day from the secondary campus, the book will tell the full story of CAC’s 2022-23 at all three campus — secondary, NLR Elementary and PV Elementary. Photo contributions from CAC’s communications office allows the yearbook staff to cover every area of CAC life, even when students can’t be at every campus.
Staff members include Naomi Hyatt (Editor-in-Chief and sophomore); Halle Browning (Assistant Editor, head designer and sophomore); Landon Benson (designer and junior); Izzy Hovater (designer and sophomore); Ethan Farmer (writer and sophomore); Autumn Powell (writer and sophomore); Micah Hovater (production team lead and sophomore); Lily Gardner (head photographer and sophomore); Paisley Williams (photographer and sophomore); Julia Carlin (photographer and sophomore); and Emily Adams (photographer and sophomore).
The staff this year chose “Elevate” as the theme and teased the theme to secondary students in chapel on Oct. 5, 2022 with the video below.
