GAME ON!

Athletic Capital Campaign

Central Arkansas Christian has been serving students and families in the heart of Arkansas since 1971, and we continue to make providing a distinctively Christian educational experience our #1 priority.

We have focused on faith first in our classrooms, and the CAC community has embraced our strategic goals and invested in our learning and public spaces, allowing for the continued broadening of our academic offerings. The results reflect growth in all facets of our school. Our students are flourishing spiritually and academically.

Now it’s time to turn our attention to ensuring we provide the best extracurricular and athletic experience for our current and future students. It is time to modernize and upgrade our legacy athletic infrastructure by investing $4.7 million in our facilities and programs.

Your investment in the future of CAC athletics acknowledges the important role that participation in physical training plays in developing the character of our students. Athletic preparation and competition engage and integrate mind, body, heart and soul.

Our student-athletes are laying a foundation for a healthy lifestyle that instills a drive to push past obstacles and build resolve. And Mustang Athletics prides itself on building meaningful relationships that unite, inspire and allow our athletes to excel in their calling as lifetime members of the Community of Christ. GAME ON!

FAQs

WE ALREADY PAY TUITION. WHY DO WE NEED TO DONATE TO THE GAME ON CAMPAIGN?

The Game On campaign is specifically designed to raise funds to enhance our athletic and extracurricular programs.

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM THE SUMMIT FUND?

The Summit fund helps bridge the gap between tuition revenue and the cost of providing a distinctively Christian educational experience.  Those dollars support initiatives like school activities and academic programs, teacher training, technology, equipment, etc. It also allows us to respond to our budgetary priorities and any unforeseen needs, developments or opportunities that may arise. Game On funds will strictly support athletic and extracurricular experiences.

MY CHILD DOESN’T PARTICIAPTE IN ATHLETICS. HOW WILL HE/SHE BENEFIT?

Game On campaign funds will benefit every student, not just athletes. Band members will perform on the football field and in the gym; PE classes will benefit from the refreshed areas; service projects like Mustang Missions will take place in the renovated areas. The funds aren’t solely for our student-athletes; they are for every student who participates in any kind of extracurricular activity at CAC.

IS MY DONATION TAX DEDUCTIBLE?

Yes. CAC’s tax ID # is 71-0423118

WILL UPDATES INCLUDE OPTIONS FOR PEOPLE WITH ACCESSIBILITY ISSUES?

Yes. The updates will improve wheelchair accessibility to the stadium. In addition, golf carts will remain in use, allowing ease of entry for people with accessibility concerns.

MY EMPLOYER MATCHES CHARITABLE DONATIONS. HOW CAN WE GET INVOLVED?

Some companies match donations at a 1:1 ratio, but some will match at a 2:1 or even a 3:1 ratio! Approximately 2/3 of companies match employee donations to 501(c)(3) organizations and educational institutions, but many employees aren’t aware or fail to take advantage of these funds. Speak with your company to find out their process for matching charitable donations; CAC’s TAX ID is 71-0423118. If you need further assistance, contact Sarah Smith with any questions.
