CAC Spotlight: New Additions to the CAC Family
With the new school year comes the arrival of many new faces on campus, and this fall CAC is excited to welcome several new staff and faculty members to the CAC family!
Neil Evans has joined the CAC teaching staff and coaching staff as the ninth grade Bible teacher and assistant football and baseball coach. Evans comes to us from Mobile Christian where he served as head football coach and previously as the assistant football and baseball coach. Evans played football at Harding University and graduated from Harding with his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology.
Also joining the teaching and coaching staff is Weston Jameson. Jameson graduated from Harding University in December of 2013 with his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and is currently pursuing his master’s degree from Southern Arkansas University. He will be teaching eighth grade history and serving as the assistant boys’ basketball coach. Jameson was the point guard for the Harding University basketball team from 2010-2014 and started for the team from 2011-2014.
Tori Beach will be splitting her time between the three campuses, leading the expanded music program as the seventh and eighth grade choir director and elementary music teacher. Beach graduated in May of 2014 from Harding University with her bachelor’s degree in vocal music education and a minor in marketing. During her time at Harding, Beach spent three years as a private voice teacher at Searcy Community School of Music.
Terri Dodd joined the family as a business office clerk at the secondary campus this July. Prior to coming to CAC, Dodd worked as an accountant at Bell Foster Johnson & Watkins. Dodd received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Central Arkansas.
CAC Cheer is delighted to welcome Laura Hall and Dia Watson as the new cheerleading coaches. Hall will teach eighth grade life skills as well as seventh and eighth grade nutrition at the secondary campus. Hall received her bachelor’s degree in family and consumer science from Harding University and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in teaching. Watson graduated with her bachelor’s degree in exercise science and her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Harding University. She currently works as a physician’s assistant at GastroArkansas. Watson brings 12 combined years of cheerleading and choreography experience to the cheerleading squad.
Tina Pilgreen will be joining the support staff in the guidance counselor’s office. Pilgreen attended Mississippi State University and completed her master’s degree in sport science from the United States Sports Academy. Before joining the CAC staff, Pilgreen taught higher education and worked in the sponsored programs office. She later served as the director for a non-profit before starting her own grant-writing business, Grants4Change.
