2018-2019 New Faculty
We are pleased to add eight highly qualified, joyful and motivated people to our teaching staff this year. They join the CAC family from across the state, the country and even the world. Students have already begun to benefit from their influence!
Meet each new faculty member below:
Gee Santos
High School Spanish
Mr. Santos completed his undergraduate and Master’s degrees at Freed Hardeman and teaches high school Spanish. A native of Brazil, Mr. Santos is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. He has a passion for ministry and hopes to be a part of a Spanish ministry in Central Arkansas.
Joe Gafford
8th Grade History & Bible
Mr. Gafford completed his BA in History and MAT at Harding University with minors in English, Bible and Ministry. He comes to us from Lisa Academy North where he served as a long-term substitute after completing his teaching internship. Joe teaches our 8th grade history and Bible classes.
Matt Hall
Physical Education, Head Boys Basketball Coach
& Golf Coach
Coach Hall returns to CAC from Russellville where he was the head basketball coach at Russellville High. Coach Hall teaches physical education and coaches basketball and golf. He and his wife, Laura, along with children Andi (9), Laney (7) and Evan (5) were involved at Central church of Christ during their initial stint at CAC. He graduated from Harding and has his Master’s from SAU.
Dr. Tim Vick
High School Bible
Dr. Vick joins our secondary faculty after many years of service at Greater Atlanta Christian Schools. Dr. Vick served in administrative, coaching, and teaching roles during his tenure at GAC. He and his wife, Kim, are excited to be closer to family as he continues his teaching ministry in our high school Bible department.
Rachael Henderson
Fourth & Fifth Grade
Mrs. Henderson has a BA and MA from Harding University and teaches fourth and fifth grades at our North Little Rock Elementary campus. She and her husband Barrett both graduated from Harding Academy, where Mrs. Henderson’s mother is a fourth-grade teacher.
Holly Cannon
Elementary Music
Mrs. Cannon is returning to Arkansas from Florida and is serving as the elementary music teacher for both the PV and NLR campuses. During the 2016-2017 school year, Mrs. Cannon was a long-term substitute at the Secondary Campus while Mrs. Thomas was on maternity leave. She has an extensive musical theatre background and graduated in 2016 with a BA from Harding.
Lindsey Fowler
Kindergarten
Mrs. Fowler joins us from Fulbright Elementary School where she taught kindergarten. She completed her BA and MA at Harding University, has nine years of teaching experience and now teaches kindergarten at our Pleasant Valley Elementary campus. Mrs. Fowler and her husband Benjamin have two children, Evie (4) and Ella (11 months).
Katie Holloway
First Grade
Mrs. Holloway joins us from Roberts Elementary and teaches first grade at the Pleasant Valley Elementary campus. Mrs. Holloway’s bachelor’s degree is from Harding and her master’s degree from UCA. She has ten years’ experience as a first-grade teacher and a Library Media Specialist. She and her husband Jimmy have two children, Ender (3) and Lydia (21 months).
