2019 National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists Announced

CAC seniors Faith Elder and Luke McClanahan, along with approximately 16,000 students nationwide, have been named 2019 National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists. According to the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, over 1.6 million juniors entered the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program. Elder and McClanahan scored in the one percent of U.S. students on the 2017 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) and were among the highest-scoring entrants in Arkansas.
