Dear CAC Parents and Guardians,
This is our family’s 14th year at Central Arkansas Christian. Our oldest son graduated last year, and our youngest son is now a 10th-grader. I know it’s trite, but time passes so quickly, and it seems like just yesterday that they were starting pre-school! Like many of you, perhaps, we marvel at how impossible it seemed that our little ones would ever grow up—and yet here we are, grateful that they are growing toward adulthood, guided by the academic and spiritual foundation CAC has provided in partnership with us as parents. This is invaluable to our family!
As parents, we are used to giving. Much like you, we give our hearts to our children; we try to equip them with everything they need to successfully transition into adulthood. We give ourselves to our families and our jobs, our friends and community. Sometimes the cycle of giving requires patience and determination. Other times we feel enormous rewards and count ourselves blessed. But no matter what, the cycle of giving and receiving continues throughout life.
As Chair of the CAC Board of Directors, I ask you to take a moment and reflect on the stream of giving running through your life. The Board has recently reflected on the School’s many generous donors and supporters for which it has relied since its inception to augment its operating budget, allowing the School to provide a more enriched program than possible with tuition dollars alone. In fact, many renovations, enhancements, and initiatives are made possible by philanthropic support, not by tuition. These endeavors are possible only through support from people like you, CAC family members.
As an alumnus, parent, fellow CAC family member, and Board Chair, I ask you to please consider CAC when making your year-end, tax deductible giving decisions. Your gift to CAC’s Annual Fund affords CAC the ability to finance things that tuition alone cannot – things like needs-based tuition assistance, faculty support and professional development, revitalization of our learning environments, as well as resources to strengthen academic and athletic programs.
We are stronger when we all participate – each as we are able – in generating enthusiasm for our School’s mission. Speaking of strength in numbers, an anonymous donor has committed to matching every dollar donated up to $100,000. Imagine the impact of doubling our gifts! I am confident that together we can reach our goal of raising $100,000 by December 31. Please join me in making a gift to help ensure CAC’s stability for current and future generations.
