Final Friday Update from Dr. Lambert

CAC Families,

“Grace, mercy and peace to you from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The apostle Paul used this greeting in his first letter to Timothy and in his letters to the early church. He combined a standard Greek greeting, “Grace to you” with a traditional Jewish greeting, “Shalom” or peace. I share this with you, not as a history lesson, but to let you know that this greeting has taken on special meaning to me over the past several months.

I am thankful to be a part of a community that has responded to the grace, mercy and peace given us from God, by extending that same grace and mercy to each other during this pandemic. We’ve worked together to find solutions to problems under trying circumstances and I believe God has honored our efforts and blessed our students. This would not have been possible without the unity of purpose and grace and mercy displayed in the CAC Community of Christ.

I know we are all fully aware of the tremendous challenges and uncertainties still facing our school, state and nation. Let’s continue to work together to face these challenges. Please be patient as we work through all the new protocols, processes, and procedures. Please be patient as we utilize new forms of technology. Please be patient with the potential disruptions that may come our way. Let us know how we can do better and serve you better. Above all, please continue to pray for our staff, students, and families.
