Working Student: Lee Poynter

David’s Burgers in Maumelle is a favorite for many CAC students and families. Along with their great food, they are known for their customer service! Among this group of top notch workers is CAC’s own Lee Poynter. 

Lee works after school multiple days a week, and her roles include: cashier, server, and drive-through service. She enjoys her job, and loves to meet people from other schools that she would not normally come into contact with.

“It allowed me to branch out and meet a lot of new people,” she said. “I think our store is a pretty close community. We laugh a lot together and it’s way less strict than I’ve heard about a lot of other jobs.”

Poynter encourages anyone who is looking for a job to consider applying to David’s Burgers. And although she would love for people to stop asking if they have chicken strips, she loves her job and the perks.
