Ty Wundurl Signs at Huntingdon College
Last Tuesday, April 18th, senior Ty Wunderl signed his letter of intent to wrestle at the collegiate level at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama.
Ty has a long list of achievements, placing 4th in the 2021 Freestyle StateTournament, which secured him a spot on the 2021 and 2022 Arkansas National Team. Ty also placed 3rd in the 2022 Freestyle State Tournament, which earned him a spot on the 2021 and 2022 Fargo USA National Team. He was named a 2022 AAA All State Wrestler after taking 4th place in the state tournament. Other accolades include being named a 2023 Ram Rumble Champion, the 2023 Christmas Classic Champion, a 2023 All Conference Wrestler, and a 2023 AAA All State Wrestler taking 3rd place overall in the State Tournament.
Ty is a prime example of what it means to be a Mustang Wrestler. We are so proud of Ty, and we know that he will continue to represent our state, CAC, and ultimately, Christ well as he furthers his academic and athletic career in Alabama.
Ty said, “I am extremely blessed to have the opportunity to wrestle at the next level. An extremely small number of people are able to wrestle in college, and even fewer can say the same from Arkansas. I am looking forward to representing the state of Arkansas and CAC while wrestling for Huntingdon.”
