CAC Announces Bob Goff for “An Evening At CAC”
CAC is excited to announce a very special guest for this year’s “An Evening at CAC.” On April 14, Mustang Mountain will welcome New York Times bestselling author, Bob Goff as the featured speaker at this annual fundraising and development event. Make plans to attend for a night of fellowship and gourmet foods in CAC’s atrium, followed by a brief program honoring some of CAC’s key supporters. Guests will then be treated to a keynote session with Bob Goff in Cone Auditorium.
Many in the community will recognize Goff as author of “Love Does,” the acclaimed book that empowered readers to live Christ-like lifestyles by fiercely seeking ways to show love. Goff is also a practicing attorney, adjunct law professor and founder of Restore International. Through Restore, Goff has pioneered a fight for human rights by pursuing justice, intervention and education for at-risk women and children in Uganda, India and Somalia. Because of his vision for Restore, Goff serves as the Honorary Consul for the Republic of Uganda to the United States.
Last year, CAC’s secondary campus had the opportunity to Skype with Goff during chapel about sharing Jesus’s love through actions. This year, CAC is excited to hear from in person!
Goff will share with the CAC family his motivational thoughts about how current and future leaders can live a “do” life. You won’t want to miss this event! More details about this year’s “An Evening at CAC” will be communicated in the upcoming months. But for now, mark your calendars for Tuesday, April 14 and plan to be part of an extraordinary evening on Mustang Mountain!
