Mr. Doug Freeman
Remembering our founder & friend
Mr. Doug Freeman and his wife, Kathleen, were instrumental in the founding of CAC more than 50 years ago, and Mr. Freeman has been a faithful parent, grandparent, great-grandparent, and board member throughout his life. He passed away March 14, and we will miss him very much.
A celebration of Mr. Freeman’s life was held on campus at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 19 in the Cone Auditorium with a visitation at 9 a.m. in the Atrium. Mike Harris officiated the service.
The service was live streamed by the Sylvan Hills Church of Christ on their Facebook page.

Reflecting on Mr. Freeman’s Legacy
This school year, we celebrated 50 years of CAC. Cindy Freeman Back, former CAC student and parent and current board member and grandparent, helped us tell the story of CAC’s beginning, led by her father, Mr. Freeman. Watch the video to learn more.
