Brad Matthews joined the Secondary Campus as Assistant Athletic Director and Boys Basketball Assistant Coach for the 2026-27 school year. Brad has been working in education for over 28 years, including 24 years coaching basketball and the past four years serving as Dean of Students at Bryant High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Central Arkansas.

Brad is married to Carol, and they have one daughter, Abby, who is a junior at Ouachita Baptist University. The family is actively involved at Indian Springs Baptist Church in Bryant, where Brad serves as a deacon and organizes the monthly food pantry in Alexander. In his free time, Brad enjoys family vacations to the beach, with Disney World being a favorite destination.
