Chapel

At CAC, each day we gather as a family to spend part of our morning together worshiping God and learning more about him through his word. This time together seeks to provide a campus-wide sense of community and encourage students in their individual faith walks. Though our daily chapel at each campus won’t meet in person for the 2020-21 school year, our goals remain the same.

For our secondary campus, Chapel will be streamed at cacmustangs.org/chapel into every classroom on campus. At our elementary campuses, chapel will include a combination of classroom-specific content and streamed videos that you can watch on our YouTube page.

Spirit Wear

Our 2020-21 Spirit Wear is available for purchases until Aug. 26. Be sure to visit the completely online store soon and grab all the Mustang gear you and your family will need this year! All items purchased during this sale will be delivered on Sept. 17.

Schedule reminder

This year, in order to allow student flexibility and to continue promoting health and safety measures, students in grades 7-12 who have study hall the first and/or last period of the day (1st and/or 8th period) have the opportunity to elect to be off-campus.

Students who are off-campus are not permitted to be in the school building (including the atrium) during their off-campus period unless under the direct supervision of a faculty or staff member. The administration reserves the right to change off-campus privileges to an assigned study hall for students who remain on campus, who have below a 70% in any class, or for reasons deemed necessary.

  1. Students who opt out of first period study hall must arrive at school no earlier than 8:40 a.m.
  2. Students who opt out of eighth period study hall must leave campus after seventh period unless under direct supervision of a teacher.
  3. Students must attend study hall for academic support if requested by a teacher. Teachers will provide students with a written request. Students must arrive at the beginning of the period and remain until the end of the period.

If your student (in grade 7-12) would like to elect to be off-campus during their scheduled study hall, please email the corresponding staff member below by this Thursday, August 13:

Grades 9-12: Jan Penrod — jpenrod@cacmustangs.org
Grades 7-8: Carrie Vick — cvick@cacmustangs.org
