Home sweet home

Our 2020 Homecoming Week was one to remember! Homecoming is a time we let the school spirit we feel come to life. Like every school activity this year, our Homecoming week had to take on a new form to keep our school community safe, but our thankfulness for the CAC family and unity in our pride and spirit is strong. Student Council selected “Home Sweet Home” as our 2020 theme, and in chapel at the secondary campus, students talked with CAC teachers about the theme all week. All three campuses participated in dress-up days following the theme, and a virtual pep rally ended the week on Friday. You can find photos from Homecoming Friday here, and explore all our videos below!

A week of conversation & competition

Our secondary chapel program for Homecoming week included our traditional Homecoming games between grades and also featured a new element this year — faculty interviews. Members of the Student Council interviewed teachers and administrators about their time in school and what CAC means to them. Watch each day’s interview and game below.

Events

Spread the Spirit Day | Fridays are normally Spirit Days on our campuses, but we wanted that spirit to spread to our whole community! Parents, grandparents, friends and graduates — wherever they happened to be, were covered in purple and gold!

Pep Rally | While the weather tried to rain on our parade, our 6th- through 12th-grade students still participated in a virtual pep rally on Friday. Watch here or below!

Home football game | The undefeated Mustang Football team took on Lonoke at 7 p.m. on Mustang Mountain and won, continuing their undefeated season.

Social Media | We also celebrated Homecoming by engaging with content on social media. There are lots of ways to get involved year round! Be on the lookout for more CAC events and content on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
