If you’ve had your picture taken for the Pony Press, you’ve probably met one of our two awesome photographers. This week we want to introduce you to Abi Monroe, a photographer/videographer for the Press.
Abi’s role includes: photography, videography, writing photo captions, coordinating sections with students, and occasionally writing other columns. Abi is excited to have this opportunity to connect with the student body and meet students in different grades.
“This role will help me in the future because I plan to minor in photography, so this will help me learn little things about taking photos,” she said. Abi plans to attend the University of Arkansas where she will major in elementary education and minor in photography.
A little known fact about Abi is that she is a bit of a collector. Abi has a snow globe collection and owns around 26 snowglobes. If you have any extra snowglobes lying around, maybe consider sending them down to the Pony Press for Abi!
Abi is an extremely talented photographer and is always willing to help out wherever she is needed. We are so excited to have her as a part of our team!
